I've been working on an original novel for the last year or so. I was really good, getting my head down and getting on with it - forsaking all others. I'm now at the 'screw this' stage and am on a break. Its sort of a 'busman's holiday' as we would say in the UK, as my second Mass Effect novel, the follow up to Resolution ezri-krios.deviantart.com/gall… is now positively screaming at me for some attention.
But... oh, no! Its been so long I really need to catch up, listen to the voices of the characters, recall their individuality, before picking up the pen. I'm nearly through another play of ME2 - purely for research purposes, you understand. After that I'll be reading Resolution, then I'll be able to throw Shep, Thane, and the rest of the crew, back into a few impossible to survive situations, dealing with That Wedding, and generally having lots of nail biting fun, while poking fun at Garrus and his damn calibrating OCD. Look out for an old crew member returning from the dead! If it's good enough for Shep...

If you thought I had forgotten, hell no. I also intend to complete the ME/Res Evil (movies) story too. I can't say when the first part of Res 2 will be out, my brain may swing back to the original novel at any point, and it takes priority. But, with the game we can't call Mass Effect 4, due out next year, I have time to send Shep to her death and snatch her away a few more times before she retires.
